Winter bookings must be done using the Online Booking System

Sorry but we don't maintain a waiting list.

Public bookings occur after members have completed their bookings.

People interested in a membership can enquire to the club secretary.  Refer to the JOIN US page.

Langi-Taan can also be booked exclusively in summer and winter (limited) by clubs and special interest groups such as Outdoor Education and schools, adventure groups, small business retreats, photography, hikers, car/off road clubs, cyclists etc...  Whole of Lodge enquiries can be directed to the booking officer.

We employ an onsite lodge manager during the snow season.

​

To contain costs, guests are required to clean their own room and clean up after themselves in all public areas.

2023 Winter Low Season Rates (non-member)

Low Season:  Friday 9 June, 2023 to Thursday 29 June, 2023; and

Friday 1/9/2023 to end of season

Adult nightly rate   $85

Child nightly rate* $55

2023 Winter - High Season Rates (non-member)

High Season: Friday 30 June 2023 to Thursday 31 August, 2023

Adult nightly rate   $125

Child nightly rate* $85

Notes for Rates:

*Child discount only applies to children under 16 years of age in Rm 3,6,13 only if full-paying adult in same room.

A single person booking a double bed - the rate applicable to two persons will apply

Summer Rates (non-member)

Adult $45 per bed night,

Child (U16) $35 per bed night

Booking Terms and Conditions

Bookings remain Tentative until payment is received.

If payment is not received by the end of the payment period, then the booking may be cancelled without notice to allow others to book.  While the club may send out reminders, in the event of a payment delay then it is the responsibility of the person making the booking to contact the booking officer.

Weekend bookings - Friday night and Saturday night.

Mid-week bookings - Sunday night to Thursday night.

Check in time is 4.00pm and check out time is 2.00pm.

To keep the cost down, each room has allocated cleaning tasks to be completed before exit.

Lodge provides​:

  • limited condiments: tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper.

Guests provide:

  • Bed linen (fitted sheets, doona covers and pillow slips), bath towels, bathmats, hand towels.  See COVID-19 Operating Terms and Conditions below  

  • Own food (including breakfast) and other condiments (eg sauces, oil etc...).

FLU and COVID-19 Operating Terms and Conditions

Refer to our COVIDSafe Operating Plan and our COVID19 page for information on how members and guests should manage COVID19 situations at Langi-Taan.  Updates will be made as the Government releases updates.​

Quick Summary​

Do not come to Langi-Taan if:

  • You have been infected with COVID-19 and have NOT completed the required self-isolation period.

  • You are subject to a quarantine notice, self-isolation notices or similar.

  • You are unwell and/or are showing symptoms of COVID-19 and have not tested negative or those test results are not yet available

​

  • Bring enough face masks and RAT tests for daily use (should this be required). We do not stock them.

  • A person who tests positive for COVID-19 or Influenza is required to leave the lodge immediately.  This may involve making personal travel arrangements.  Please check with the bus company if COVID positive people are permitted to travel on the bus. 

  • Close contacts of a COVID can stay at the lodge if they comply with Victorian Department of Health guidelines. 

  • Inform the Lodge Manager if you or someone in your group has COVID-19.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made via email to langitaan@gmail.com.

  • More than 4 weeks prior to the booking = 100% refund;

  • More than 2 weeks and less than 4 week prior to the booking = 50% refund;

  • No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to your booking start date (unless government COVID restrictions are in effect at the time of the booking)

COVID19 - Cancellation Conditions:

If your booking is impacted by COVID-related government restrictions then the booking is 100% refundable.  

Please refer to the Mt Hotham official website for all announcements and questions about the status of Mt Hotham and the ski season. 

​

In the interests of the health of fellow guests and others on the mountain, our cancellation policies encourage bookings to inform us of any COVID circumstances that force them to cancel all or part of their holiday (with one exception).

  • In the event that a change in COVID-19 restrictions causes the Lodge to be closed entirely or for the number of permitted guests/capacity of the lodge to be decreased, affected guest bookings will be refunded 100%.

  • A guest (and affected booking) who returns a positive COVID test result (either whilst on the mountain or prior to coming to the mountain will be eligible for a refund for unused nights.  Evidence of the positive test result may be requested.

 

Guests are not eligible for a COVID-refund for nights missed if:

  •  If a guest / booking does not present evidence of a negative test when requested by mountain staff / police/ health staff and is subsequently refused entry to the mountain or is forced to leave.  For example: If entering the mountain is conditional on showing a negative test result, if a guest does not present evidence and is refused entry then they are not eligible for a refund for any nights missed.
